Voyagers Night-In (via Zoom!)

Monday, January 8, 2024. 6:00 – 7:30 p.m., Eastern Time

Through our years of gathering, the Voyagers have established the tradition of “Voyagers Night Out,” a time to talk, have an adult beverage, and indulge in a savory repast. During the pandemic, we adapted to the challenge by hosting several “Voyagers Night In” online gatherings.

The new variation on tradition continues! You are invited to a Voyagers’ Night In to listen to a presentation and chat about it among those with some understanding of Bowen Family Systems theory.

The topic for this meeting is “Staying Afloat: Ministry and Leadership in a Sea of Anxiety.” The Rev. Bob Spilman is our presenter. Bob studied with Rabbi Edwin Friedman, and is a long-time member of the Voyagers. Bob will draw on a biblical story, Bowen theory, part of his family story, and a case study to consider how we can ‘stay afloat.’

All who are interested in the topic and have some background in Bowen Theory and Friedman’s work with it are welcome. There is no cost, but registration is necessary. Click here to register. You will receive a link to the meeting in your confirmation email. (But just in case you lose track of that email, the link will be sent out again on January 8!)
